Lasting Powers of Attorney

Home / Wills and Probate / Lasting Powers of Attorney

Lasting Powers of Attorney should be in place to provide security for you should you lose capacity in the future and be unable to deal with your own affairs.

LPA’s ensure that your wishes are respected in the future and that your attorneys can make decisions that you would have done yourself.

  • Decide upon the care that you should receive
  • Be included in any clinical decisions such as the type of medical care and treatment that you receive
  • Speak to medical professionals regarding your views on life sustaining treatment
